Jeff Hardy Leaving WWE, As confirmed in the Smackdown Spoilers, Jeff Hardy has finished up his final dates left on his WWE contract and has now left the company to take a hiatus.
Hardy was told by WWE management that the door is always open for him to come back whenever he wanted to. WWE also told Hardy they would be happy to help him plug his future projects, such as his band Peroxwhy?gen and a potential reality TV series.
Jeff told the WWE that he wasn’t leaving because he was unhappy, but rather he just wanted time off the road. The feeling amongst everyone backstage is Hardy leaving is similar to when Chris Jericho left WWE back in 2005.
Jericho left WWE on good terms to take time off and pursue other interests, and when he came back, he was in a better position than before.
There has been a lot of praise for Jeff Hardy in recent months for his work, particularly in helping CM Punk become a legitimate main event heel before working with The Undertaker.
