Jasper Howard's girlfriend, of the University and the team mourn his death. Jasper Howard's girlfriend has broken with the untimely death of Howard. The two were dating sometimes now and loved greatly.
Since the brutal attack on Howard that eventually killed him, has not been able to reconcile with the fact that his Jasper Howard is not alive.
She's no idea why someone as intelligent and loving as Jasper can be attacked with a knife and killed an armed man.
Jasper, 20, died Sunday morning by unknown assailant. His death is mourned not only by his family but also by the university and his teammates.
"Many of you know Jasper - a devoted son, friend, and promising student-athlete. I know our community is suffering from this loss and is distressed by the violence involved," said Michael Hogan, president of the University in a statement . "We extend our deepest condolences to the family of Jasper, friends and teammates at this time of incredible pain."
The President also urged community members to reach those around them. "The tragedies of this type have a profound effect on us all, and may cause extraordinary pain," he said, noting that small acts of kindness can help people and strengthen the community.
