Windows 7 Review, Since Microsoft launched the first and only beta release of Windows 7 has been much hype around the new operating system - that we had an early look at Windows 7, shortly after the beta came out in January and was impressed. The development program has been incredibly smooth, running almost perfectly and precisely hit key milestones normally only associated with Swiss watchmakers.
This was in marked contrast to long road to the release of Vista, which saw delays characteristic of sacrifice and a final product that was not all it should have been. Combine that with horrible driver support from many manufacturers (and especially from a player point of view Nvidia) and have a recipe for disaster. Not surprisingly, most PC users stuck with an old friend from Windows XP. Microsoft recognizes this, and it seems as if they had listened to the great bugbears of consumers with Vista. A lack of a better way to describe it, Microsoft has essentially fixed Vista and the result is certainly Microsoft's operating system to date.
