Cal State Fullerton Basketball, Jacques Streeter hit a free throw with 12.7 seconds remaining in double-overtime to secure Cal State Fullerton’s 68-65 over UCLA, Monday night at Pauley Pavilion.

Cal State Fullerton’s effort spoiled the Bruins’ season opener, while the Titans improved to 2-0. The victory by the Titans was their first, in 10 games at Pauley Pavilion.
Aaron Thompson scored 22 points to lead all players. UCLA’s Michael Roll and Malcolm Lee had 17 each for the Bruins.
Cal State Fullerton took a 10-point lead in the second half but needed a free throw by Jacques Streeter with 9.5 seconds left in regulation to tie the score. The Bruins had a chance to win but a running floater by Jerime Anderson rimmed out at the buzzer.
