David Tua vs Friday Ahunanya, Boxer David Tua will fight Nigerian Friday ‘the 13th’ Ahunanya on Wednesday 31 March at Trust Stadium Waitakere, Auckland.
We’ll be covering it live from 11am and you’ll have your chance to have your say on Tua’s attempt to rise to the top of the heavyweight rankings once more.
Tua will be defending his WBO Asia Pacific and Oriental belts against former sparring partner Ahunanya.
Tickets will go on sale on February 8 and only 3000 will be available for general admission. In addition there will be 200 corporate ringside tables.
American Roger Bloodworth is training Tua and Ahunanya has been sparring with world class heavy weight fighters Hasim Rachman and Samuel Peter ahead of the fight.
