Verizon Iphone Release Date, We recently reported that WSJ confirmed that Apple was developing two new iPhone models 
– one for AT&T and the other for Verizon. At that stage there were no suggestions of a name, but there has been an update to this story. It seems that the new Apple smartphone will be called the iPhone HD.
The release date or announcement date is rumored to be on June 22, 2010 – perfect timing for the HTC EVO 4G. This latest Android running handset is thought to be a big threat to the current iPhone – so comes as no surprise that Apple will offer something very special.
There are a number of HD smartphones about to, or already on the market, so the rumors of an iPhone HD will certainly keep Apple fans happy. We are still not certain how much truth in this story as it is still developing.
