Aishwarya Rai and baby daughter Aradhya plan to travel to the US in mid-September to be with daddy Abhishek Bachchan, who is shooting for YRF's Dhoom 3 in Chicago.
Ahead of them, Amitabh Bachchan will be arriving in Chicago on September 6, after a brief stay in New York City, to spend some time with son Abhishek.
Like Amitabh, Aishwarya will travel to Chicago via NYC.
"Later this month, around mid September, Aishwarya will fly down to New York. We aren't too sure whether it is to meet Shweta Nanda (Abhishek's sister), who's often in the city. From there, she along with Beti B will join Abhishek in Chicago to spend some quality family time," an insider told the Mirror.
Given the proclivity of Mumbai tabloids and the city's gossip grapevine to ascribe bizarre motives to almost anything that the Bachchans do, there is a buzz that Aishwarya is going to Chicago to avoid media attention when Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine headlining Kareena Kapoor bows in theaters on September 21.
Nothing could be more ridiculous. Aiswharya couldn't go to Chicago earlier because of her professional commitments, specifically the promotional campaign for Kalyan Jewels that marked her return to showbiz after a short sabbatical to welcome bundle of joy Aradhya into this world.
Ridiculous rumors aside, we wonder if baby Aradhya and Abhishek's Dhoom 3 co-star Aamir Khan's baby son Azad will have a play date in Chicago while their fathers play cop and robber on set, even if the play date is just a babies howling and soiled nappies fest.
