If Kate Middleton is not safe from the camera phones and drone technology, then no one will be safe that you can enjoy your privacy. French magazine Closer, a weekly round-up of celebrity gossip, has revealed plans to publish pictures of Kate Middleton completely topless.
On the magazine's website, it says the pictures are of the couple "like you have never seen them before. Gone are the fixed smiles and the demure dresses. On holiday Kate forgets everything." These photos have really created a big sign of interrogation on the privacy of high profile celebrities including royal family.
The Daily Telegraph's Willard Foxton also insisted in his blog to take steps about such kind of paparazzi. Willard Foxton wrote in his blog, "We need to do something about this problem before it gets out of hand – even if that means Prince Phillip guarding his grandson's bedroom with a shotgun."
The official spokesman of British Prime Minister David Cameron said to BBC while reacting on the issue, "The view from Downing Street is that they are entitled to their privacy." William and Kate are said to be feeling "anger and disbelief at the publication of the photographs, taken while on a private holiday.
According to The Telegraph, the Duke and Duchess were told about the pictures during breakfast as they prepared for the fourth day of their tour of the Far East.
A spokesman for Clarence House, the Prince of Wales's office, said, "The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to the Duke and Duchess for being so. Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them."
Laurence Pieau, editor-in-chief of Closer in France, posted several comments on Twitter late Thursday promoting the images' release, "The world exclusive of #closer tomorrow is Kate Middleton as you have never seen her ... and as you will never see her again."
