Casey Wilson (born October 24, 1980) is an American actress, comedienne and screenwriter who is best known for her time as a cast member on the 33rd and 34th seasons of Saturday Night Live.

Just a day after announcing the hiring of two new female cast members, news broke that Michaela Watkins and Casey Wilson were both given the ax by producer Lorne Michaels. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, Watkins talks about her reaction to the unexpected termination. “Shock. And sadness [because] it just felt premature. But on some level I feel like there are so many opportunities and things that I want to do in the future and now they’ll just happen sooner rather than later.”

It was confirmed that comedians Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad have signed on to join the cast. It’s still unknown whether we’ll see the return of veteran Darrell Hammond, who is still in contract negotiations. The 35th season of SNL starts September 26 with guest host Megan Fox.
