Sasha Cohen is well known by her complete name “Alexandra Pauline ‘Sasha’ Cohen”. Sasha Cohen was born on 26th October, 1984 in Westwood, Los Angeles, California United States. Her nick name “Sasha” is reveled from Russian Nick name. Her mother belonged to Ukraine and was a famous ballet dancer, while her father “Roger Cohen” was doing business with “Dorsey and Whitney LLP” an attorney at law. Sasha Cohen completed her graduation from “Future High School” Mission Viejo, California United States in 2002. Sasha Cohen can understand Russian. Sasha Cohen’s height was about 157 cm (5.2 ft)

Sasha Cohen proved her writing skills and published her own autobiography in2005 “Fire on Ice”. After the addition of a new chapter in this publication it was re-published in 2006.

Sasha Cohen started “figure skating” when she was only eleven years old. During 2002 she appeared in the skating field and participated in “United States Figure Skating Championships”.

In year 2001 she was unable to compete due to the “stress fracture” in her back. In 2002 she got a silver medal at “2002 U.S. Championships”. In those days “John Nicks” was her coach.

In 2002 – 2003 sessions she replaced her previous coach and joined “Tatiana Tarasova”. On result she was awarded gold medal in “2202 Trophee Lalique”.
