DeWyze started strong, honoring the late Alex Chilton with the Box Tops’ The Letter. The judges raved when Crystal Bowersox channeled Janis Joplin for Me and Bobby McGee (the night’s obvious song choice). Save for Simon Cowell, they also praised Siobhan Magnus’ show-closing Superstition. Beyond that, though, they couldn’t find much to get excited about.American Idol Top 11
