Michael Jackson Hoax Video, A new hoax video purportedly showing the King of Pop coming out from the back of a coroner's van has created an online stir.

The video was shot as an experiment aimed at showing the world how quickly misinformation and conspiracy theories can spread across the Internet. And apparently the hoax worked. The video received 880,000 hits on YouTube alone in one day.

"We wanted to show how easily users can be manipulated on the Internet with Michael Jackson Hoax Video," spokesman Heike Schultz of Cologne-based RTL told The Associated Press. "Therefore, we created this video of Michael Jackson being alive, even though everybody knows by now that he is dead - and the response was
breathtaking."

Michael Jackson's death was ruled a homicide last week by the Los Angeles Coroner's Office. The star died on June 25th.
