Brandon Patch, Patch Randon, 18, died when a baseball hit by an aluminum bat struck him in the head in 2003. Patch was the pitcher and died just hours after suffering head injury. Revision of the family is suing the bat manufacturer.
Patch's family said the bat maker warned that its aluminum product caused the ball to travel faster than the traditional wooden stick.
Debbie Patch received $ 850,000, when the Hillerich and Bradsby judge ordered to pay compensation to the family of patches. Ms. Patch said he never expected to be awarded the money demand as its purpose was to force the manufacturer to warn people about the potential dangers of the aluminum bat.Brandon Patch
