In fact, no less than three actresses in "Nine" are no strangers to the power of the striptease.
Before Cruz would be nominated for a Golden Globe in "Nine," she performed a raunchy, unnerving exotic dance in 2006's "Chromophobia." Her work in that psychological drama didn't prepare her for the arduous training needed for her routines in "Nine," which required months of dancing classes.
