Roger Federer hit 34 winners and committed just eight unforced errors in a 6-4, 7-6(5), 7-6(5) win in one hour and 59 minutes. For only the eighth time at Wimbledon, Federer hit more than 20 aces in a match. Federer improved to 48-5 on grass as he seeks his sixth Wimbledon Championship. "The important thing is that I keep on moving in the draw, that I'm playing well," said Federer. "I thought I played a great first week. Today was different just because there were not that many rallies. It was a different type of match. It could be the same again the next round. So I'm excited I'm through to another quarter." Federer knows there are a lot of great players left and it’s going to be tough. He’s placing the ball in the corners, his serve is great and his backhand is just as good as his forehand. Federer owns Karlovic 8-1.
